HRC is a different kind of animal advocacy organization. We're a nonprofit, but we don't advocate to the public or compete with other groups by using direct mail campaigns. Most of HRC's revenue comes from our discounted research fees for work on behalf of our clients. However, with your donations, HRC has more opportunity to spend our time creating centralized resources and providing pro bono services to smaller organizations.

Financial Support

Your contribution to HRC will help increase the effectiveness of the entire animal protection movement. How? Through our free resources like HumaneSpot.org, independent studies like the Animal Tracker, and our discounted services, HRC is making research accessible and meaningful for animal advocates. This allows them to cost-effectively improve their campaigns and measure their impact using a wide range of research methods. And without measuring impact, there is simply no way to know if they are making a real difference.

Perhaps more than financial support, HRC's primary barrier to more effectively helping animal advocates is simply having sufficient time.
